Meet Lori!

Hello everyone! I’m Lori, and it is a pleasure to meet each and everyone one of you!
And, just so you know, I have NEVER met Luanne… but I hope to someday!
I grew up in Dayton (with Jenny from momminitup, actually), but moved to Canton, Ohio to go to college, and have stayed up here ever since. After all, it is the home of the PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME! Who can resist that? But, my husband has something to do with it too. I met him in 1996 and we fell in love. John and I will be married nine years in July. We have two beautiful daughters. Faith is 7 1/2 and Lucy is 4 1/2. I love my family so very much and wouldn’t know what to do without them.
One of my “claims to fame” is that I have had MANY odd jobs over my working career… the best working at Jacob’s Field – home of the CLEVELAND INDIANS. The worst being a telemarketer… for four days. The ironic part is, my husband and my dad work for a telemarketing company (not the same one I worked for). The oddest job has been being the EASTER BUNNY. I actually did this twice, and hope to do it again in the future. But for now I am a preschool teacher which I totally love.
Another thing I am currently doing is going back to school to get my degree in Business Management. I graduate in December. It has been a challenge to go back to school, but I am really glad I have done it.
Someday I will find out what I want to be when I grow up. I hope that’s not anytime soon, though. I enjoy how things are right now.
So for now, so long, dear readers. It has been a wonderful experience blogging to you all.

Nice to meet you too! The idea of Luanne letting us met some the people that has come ocross her blog is neat! I guess that we can over look the fact that you grew up with Jenny. ANd as far as working at Jacobs field…I think I remember you! You were part of the starting rotation for the Indians during the ’01 seasons right?!
LORI-CITA, as I like to call her is also THIRTY YEARS OLD TODAY!!!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LORI!!!
You really need to start your own blog. I mean, I know you have NO TIME right now but someday….you must!
No way, it is your birthday? Why didn’t you say so? Happy Birthday!!!! I give $15 gift certificates on Birthdays so if you want something, go ahead and pick it out! Thanks for your blog.
Kisses!
Luanne, it is my 30th birthday today!
Dsto – I was in the bullpen, not the starting rotation.
Jenny – I may get my own blog… someday.
Happy Birthday, Lori!!!
Thanks for sharing in your blog today, it’s always good to get to know someone new. I somewhat grew up w/ JRap too. I went to Dayton Christian also. Did you?
Hi Katie,
Its nice to meet you too.
Nope, I did not go to DC. Our families went to the same church (and our parents still go there). I’ve known her since I was about 3 or so.
Happy Birthday! Oh, Wow Dayton Christian…a blast from the past! I went there many years and graduated in 1986… wish I lived closer and I would send my children there… loved that school…What years did you go there Katie? And Lori thanx for sharing so much about your family and life in general…We loveeeeee the Indians! Had to be to cool to work with them! Oh and Katie when you refer to JRap… may I ask who that is… I graduated with someone by the name of Judy Rapson…
Tiffany – I am JRap -I am married to Judy Rapson’s brother, Bobby. Small world! Bobby and I graduated in 1996.
You graduated with Judy? Judy is Jenny’s (Jenny from momminitup) sister in law. Jenny is married to Judy’s brother Bobby. Ruth who comments here quite a bit, is Judy and Bobby’s sister.
Small world!
Sorry, hadn’t refreshed my page & I didn’t know Jenny had already replied. Weird Jenny, what is the gay “small world” twinsy thing we are doing?
ohhhhhhhhh my gosh!! Tell her TIffany (Pyle) Chorazewitz says HEllo!! Wow! Ruth Rapson I remember her too…the brothers I do not… perhaps alot younger… I graduated in 1986…loved that school…what is she doing these days?? Hope all is well…small small world! Gods Blessings to you all!
