I know some of you are here as a result of my BFF Jenny from momminitup, pimping me out. If you have never been to her blog, it is a must read. She is a master at……all yall out there who know her know exactly what I am talking about…..COUPONING! She amazes me. She has enough free stuff at her house to start her own store. Well, I hate to burst some bubbles especially sweet Bethany who was kind enough to have a cuponing class for all of us, but I CAN’T COUPON!!! I am not kidding. It freaks me out. Pleeeeeaasse tell me there is some other freak out there. I hate standing alone. I have tried, God knows (Jenny too!) I’ve tried. If fries my brain or something. I spend hours clipping and sorting, and making a list and checking it twice. By the time I’m finished I don’t have enough time, much less energy, to get my butt to the store. When Jenny came over for Bible study and saw that my Sunday paper was still on the porch, she was concerned. I had to then confess to her that I had a whole pile of papers tucked in the bookshelves of my office. She was very disappointed. Being the BFF that she is, she quickly came up with a brilliant solution:
I use a site that will tell me exactly where the coupon is and what the best store is to use it at. It is called The Grocery Game. Jenny told me to file the ads whole (like in a fan file) until I print and highlight the items from The Grocery Game that I want to buy. Then I can get my dd Krisha to cut out the coupons on the list before I go to each store. Brilliant! She never ceases to amaze me. I know it will work. If I would just do it….the paper pile is starting to take over my office. Argh! Couponing just doesn’t work for me.
You are not the only one. I never do it unless it is something that I was going to buy any way. I find that stocking up on bulk items is the cheaper way to go for my family.
You better have had Krisha file this week’s coupons away…you don’t want to lose your awesome $4 off razor coupons!!! (but you know if you do I will have your back.) xoxo
it’s alright. it is pretty time consuming. i have slacked off a bit lately. i haven’t been to cvs much lately. i think i have been once in the last 3 weeks. and there were times that i was going 3 times a day…..i think we are going to have a follow up coupon class….it sounds like the grocery game thing would help….but you could always just shop @ jenny’s free store
Well, I love the thought of that Grocery Game site…however, I can not get my hubby to spend money on something like that just to save money….I would do it in a heartbeat!!! But he won’t! It looks great though!

Couponing is really a game… you against the retailers… and the coupons are your “get out of paying” card.
If you don’t want your coupons… I’ll gladly take them off your hands. But I have a feeling that Jenny got her grubby little hands on them already.
Coupons don’t work for me either!
What’s silly though is that I still tend to clip them. Bad habit and false hopes, I guess?
I definitely use coupons for free product or almost free product that I already use.
Shopping around my coupons is too time consuming for me. I can’t get a system down.

What does WFMW stand for (I know, I is a newbie) and is this a blog site and how would I get back (got here through some links from an e-mail you sent! Oy… so out of touch with the real world, I am, I am! Help!
Oh, on the coupon thing- I’m a wannabe more than anything… If I wander across one that is for something that I use regularly, I snip and tuck (or ripp and toss) it in my purse.. hoping to use it before I have to throw it out ’cause it’s expired, which happens more frequently than I’d like to admit (drat- $7 cat food coupon that I mailed something in for wasted-argh)! You are not alone. Can’t coupon worth beans for nuttin’ here.

I bet she would love for you to find your way back,so what you need to do is bookmark it or add it to your favorites. ( you right click and then select either “bookmark” or “add to favorites” and this site will be saved in a file for all of your web sites you want to visit often . At the top of the window is a drop down menu that has all of your favorites that you add. You just click on one that has been added and it will take you right there!) OR, if all of that sounded like gibberish to you,you can just save that awesome email you received and use that link to get here.
Couponing takes patience and discipline. I have neither. I truly look up to those who do!
