Like it, love it, or gotta have it?

We are finally getting our house painted. It has certainly been a long time coming. We have an old downtown Victorian style house. It is unbelievable what it cost to have them painted. We have had estimates from $13,000 to $18,000. Several weeks ago, a painter gave us an estimate of $5,500. AMAZING! Of coarse I wanted to say, “You can start tomorrow!”, but the truth about it is , these days, it is hard to come up with $5,500. Times must be tough for everyone because, I wrote up an offer for this guy to take $2000 right now and $500 the first of each month from December 1 – June 1 and he took it! That is like a six month interest free loan. Anyway, I wanted to put the colors past you and see what you think. I would have loved to have it be blue (my favorite color) but most of the houses on our street are some kind of blue, blue-grey, or grey so … we needed to go with something different. you should paint it pink!
We were blessed to have a hail storm earlier this year… instead of having to paint we ended up getting FREE SIDING! But, I miss my house’s character of dark green… it was unique. Now, it’s boring… sage green. I like the unique color! It’s easy for giving directions!

well – you could paint it princess pink OR there is a house in Lebanon that is several shades of purple…..I would go with the sage green – sounds great!
