As a followup to last weeks tips and trends in the world of “red” (which by the way is being featured on Chic Critique today,)I want us to talk about all of the major lip trends of 2008 and at the same time give you a classic, realistic look that you can do every day. I really like the nude look!! It can work all year round don’t you think? When you do the nude look with the lips…you don’t play up the eyes much either right? Kinda an “overall” nude look? I likes it…simple but pretty…now if I can get my daughter to agree…

Luanne, I think you have your hands full with me. My signature lip color is Bonnie Bell Dr. Pepper lip gloss. Where does that fit in with this year’s trends?

Lori, I’m usually not much for trendy stuff…I love a classic healthy look, but that nude look is great for people who don’t wear much color to start with. Bonnie Bell just might do. And Dr. Pepper…you can’t get much better than that!
Don’t lie to these people! You are ALL about the trendy fashions! Remember when you wore parachute pants and the fanny pack with your hair pulled back in a scrunchie? And here you are trying to act like you don’t care about todays fashon trends…HA!

First of all…I have NEVER worn a fanny pack & second of all, those purple parachute pants were hot! What I wouldn’t give just to be able to get my butt in them now?

I think we ALL want a picture of you with the parachute pants now. I think you need to have a throwback thursday picture thrown in for the fun of it.
In these pictures they are wearing mascara and white eyeliner…yes white eyeliner. We will talk about that if a few weeks when we talk about eyes. Anyway, nude lips are being worn with very little on the eyes and also with very dark smoky eyes…also something I will show you in our eye class.
